unwrapped
few things bring more joy than looking into a gift bag and seeing the very thing you ogled all those months ago, but forgot to remember that you wanted.
cadiz, just saw the new poem on the side- nice girl!!! thats so hot, you can write poetry in a foreign languare... or is it your poetry... or is that really a foreign lanugage?? hmmmm....
i saw a jumperjacket thing and waffled about buying it months ago. someone very thoughtful remembered and gave it to me, along with a book i couldn't find b/c i had the name wrong and my fave tv show on dvd. seriously, people who pay attention earn saved seats in heaven.
the stuff in the corner is usually something that speaks to me (because really, about me? that changes every minute) what's currently up there is part of a song called, 'andar conmigo' by julieta venegas. you can always find the source on google.
sometimes when you include the author, people can't help but let their ideas about her or him distract from the intended sentiment. i thought it was obvious they were lyrics, and i'd hate to think people thought i was taking credit for what was not mine. that practice will be revised immediately. anything without attribution in the future, you can credit to me. and yes, i do my fair share of writing in a couple languages, but haven't really put any of it up here. don't hold your breath.
comeon- if you so badly wanted a mcdonalds big mac, i could have gotten it a long time ago!!!
ReplyDeleteyes- tell us what it is, because strange things come to mind-
Now I'm curious too. What did you get?

ReplyDeleteIsn't that so thoughtful of the giver? To notice what you wanted and remember?
