*I*T'*S* *S*N*O*W*I*N*G*!
i've always said that i need to be in a place that showcases all the seasons. and despite the fact that i had to dig my car out from under a foot and a half of snow this evening -- even after trying to park under a bridge -- and drive home on the highway at 30 m.p.h., hydroplaning once and afraid of being sideswiped by an errant SUV, i still think it's damn pretty.
but ask me again in March.
I'm kind of a snow-hater. I always have been. But deep down, I'm kind of excited for the day my kid can go out and play in it. So I hold off on moving south for the winters.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt, when she was in New York for a while, saw snow for the first time. She ran out hollering, 'Snow, snow', and made a snow angel.
ReplyDeleteFriend of mine, he was studying in Russia, was washing socks the first time he saw snow. He dropped everything ran out hollering, 'Snow, Snow.'
Was it the snow or are they just mad?
