while the world plays

I am at the office.

H is in town and currently sailing down the Chicago River on an architectral tour.

I've finished up most of today's to-do already, so I had time to check this out:

Dance Dance Revolution

No, it's not the get-off-your-rump video game, it's about a traveling man and his happy dance.

It made me smile today.

That guy is great! I've never seen him before, but there is something so wonderful and joyful about being able to make an ass of yourself all over the world and not care. My favorite place was Rwanda where the kids jumped in and danced with him.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, BTW.

Hi H!

That dude is crazy.

So that dude gets paid by a gum manufacturer to dance like that all over the world? I think that's better than my job...

Right there with you about work. Today is my first day off in a week. Second day off in three weeks. It has sucked.

That made me smile too! The whole thing with the kids in Rwanda was especially sweet.

Re : previous posts

"Brownout" made me chuckle. I come here and it makes me happy. Now if I can find someone to give me a nice little sponsor deal for that, that'd be awesome.

I like that dancing guy already. Anybody who takes the time out / choses a job to make other people happy is great.

A cousin of mine, living in Canada, was in Chicago...she went on and on about how wonderful the city is, how a mayor went about planning the place. Ah, to have that sort of vision here....
