the problem with parking -- vol. 10

the problem with parking is when you tell your friend you'll be at her house in 45 minutes -- and you were -- however, it takes you another 40 minutes to find a spot near her building that isn't 2-feet deep in snow or taken up by plastic lawn furniture. sigh.

oh cadiz! i REMEMBER this crap about putting law furniture into "your car spot" let me tell you this shit would NOT fly here in NYC that lawn furniture would be so bruitaly mutilated and left for the owner to see and be warned that nobody would be doing this crap--- and if you tried to do something bad to their car they would seek you out and do something bad to you... and your family-

The furniture trick can be frustrating, but under those conditions i think it's fair. It's just as frustrating when you shovel out a spot only to find that some other lug has taken it from you. Not to say that you're a lug...

Hey girly, girl,
where did you go tonight anyways? i am sick as a dog.

hey, after many years of driveway shoveling, i have much respect for the spaces carved out by others. it's just so hard to see them sitting there, empty adn pretty and unavailable.

And then you probably stole somebody's spot that they shoveled out.

Your car is so keyed.

plastic lawn furniture is such a sad display.

at least put something heavy there.

i mean, c'mon, who are you kidding? i would easily move that stuff to the curb and start parking. i'm sorry, but there are
no saved spots in public parking.

remember cadiz, think "entourage". wherever you go, your entourage must perform these mundane and unnecessary tasks such as moving lawn furniture. also, they must perform these tasks while hanging out the passenger windows with lots of cash in their hands. and when you finally park, we're just gonna have somebody in your entourage hand out cristal to drink like it's a MF celebration....oh and $300 dollar cigars like 50 smokes.

I have never heard of this furniture-in-parking-space phenomenon, having never shovelled snow in my life. But I can only imagine the frustration at having a space stolen after doing the hard work...

What torture it must be, though... to simply have an empty space staring at you...

you know i was damn tempted, but i'm terrified of bad karma. so i trudged on.

ah, my entourage. i really need to work on that.

Cadiz, I know I shouldn't tease you, I know, I know, but I'm wicked and I can't help myself. *I*T'* *S*N*O*W*I*N*G!

eh, no need to feel bad, gg. i had it coming...

i still think it's pretty. it's just like most pretty things; sometimes it can be a pain in the ass.

How unkind of your friend not to get a parking space ready for you!
Might even be her furniture, you know, Cadiz...

Yeah, you could have run over those plastic ornaments. No one would have cared. By the way, habla espanol?
