"Welcome to the 21st century. Finally."

i got cable.

a dish to be specific, with a loooooot of channels. CABLE TELEVISION! with a dvr!

yeah, so if you don't hear from me for awhile, it's because i'll be extremely busy watching TRL, E! True Hollywood Story, Mythbusters, the Real World, SportsCenter, The Daily Show, A Baby Story and all of the other crap that i've pretended to know about for all these years. a girl's gotta figure out what she's been missing.

my only problem is that i'll have to find something else to complain about. i'm sure it won't be that hard.

Well, technically, Cadiz doesn’t have cable either… she has satellite. I didn’t have any cable or satellite when I was growing up, but now that I’m an adult, I feel I’ve earned the right to sufficiently rot my brain in front of the screen. So I guess being an adult has a few minor advantages…

girl, if you have any on-demand channels, you may never leave the house. hbo and showtime are worth the money for the original series. in fact, when i go pay the bill ever month, i repeat the words "sopranos" and "weeds" to myself over and over again so that i don't mind shelling out the cash.

Why the change of heart? Not that it really matters....YAY TV!
Food Network is the BEST! Glad that Marc Summers still has a job.

ah finally. there's so much you've been missing. scrubs, monk, mythbusters (which rocks)...I was ready to implode with suggestions by the time I scrolled down the comments.

but I figure, you'll find these things out on your own.

and by the looks of the latest post, you didn't waste time in finding something else to blaze hellfire on. good job. very efficient.
