i need to go back to kindergarten

about halfway through my shift last night, i'm standing in the center of a sea of cubicles -- none of which are higher than my waist, mind you -- talking to a colleague about the project for the night. the woman who swaps books with me walks past, pauses, and comes back toward us. she reaches behind me and pulls on the tag of my sweater. it seems i've come to work with my sweater on inside-out. she laughs and everyone looks up. god only knows what kind of connotations that gives people. oh well. i just shrugged my shoulders and kept working.

however, i probably should look into getting some flashcards on how to dress myself.

That’s one of those rare moments when you get to make a choice. You can huddle up and be embarrassed by it, or you can own it and just roll with it. I’d probably make it a point to wear my tag out for several days in a row afterwards. I’m super cool like that.

That's a pretty cool thing, jon.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. But try to get some more sleep.

At least you didn't forget the sweater altogether...

We were taught that skill in preschool, not kindergarden. However, I was only "pretty good" at it, so let me not criticize.

Um... Riding right past the previous comment...

I've done that, but I feel it says quite a bit about my collegemates that they never caught on. Could sleep deprivation to blame? Sounds like you don't get enough.

this reminds me of Omar's kindie report. I think jon's idea is pretty good. and as for Ale's...well, there are too many disturbing possibilities.

Do what jon said to and you could so start a trend! Go all haughty and say 'Oh you didn't know? It's all the craze in Paris' someone's bound to fall for that.

Here you'd get a lot of teasing about going out at night like a vampire...we say folks who wear their clothes inside-out were out all night doing vampire things :-D
