My sister had a wedding coordinator for hers and I don’t think it made a huge difference up until the actual day of the wedding. That’s the day when the wedding coordinator really earns their money, but it means the Bride is free to enjoy her wedding instead of trying to run it. I think it was a good thing. Of course, I’m not really sure of any of this. I’m just making an observation on what I saw.

My other sister is opting for an extreme location/ big holiday wedding so she can pretty much ensure no one will show up, but that way she can still send tons of invites to get some goodies in the mail. That idea may be pure genius. Well, at least for anyone that wants a small wedding, but doesn’t know how to tell their family that.

i dont care what the heck goes on at my wedding as long as there is a cupcake tower!!!!!!!!!

..oh and hopefully that's still trendy by that time.

I want to elope. But my mother threatens to never speak to me again if I do that. She should be so grateful when I finally do the deed that it shouldn't matter how it's done.

i want to have getaway nuptials, too. last thing i need are some clucking aunties talking shit about the food or hall or music or whatever. and you know they would.
