my brother is a man of few words. and despite his 24hour internet access, he isn't big on e-mail. so recently when his phone broke, i was surprised to get a note from him, until i saw it Sunday:
'pissed off Notre dame lost'
and then:
'now to top it off the f*cking white sox are in the worldseries'
(he's a cubs fan)
sportsfans. they care enough to send the very best.

I got two very similar notes from my old college roommate. One about Penn State losing on Saturday, the other also about the White Sox (from Naperville, also a Cubbies fan).
i'm for cubs too! the white sox think too much of themselves, when in fact they need to stop drinking so much and go back to baseball clinic-
-according to a certain little sports fan i know! -not in the same words but i translate- i'm so glad he keeps me updated- haha!
